Twilight lay peacefully sleeping in her bed, dreams drifting through the sea of her subconscious, when a noise broke through snapping her back to reality. Her eyes cracked open, but she didn't move for a moment. She held her eyes closed while she listened for what woke her and as she lay still she could hear something sniffling softly across the room.
